For many in our community, a library card means access to books, internet, job resources, educational programs, and opportunity. But the $50 annual non-resident fee has put that access out of reach for some families. Today, someone who lives in CDA can’t access books at the Hayden library without paying that fee – and vice versa. This is wrong.
