Awards
Each spring, the Kootenai Democrats nominate members of our Democratic community for the Art Manley Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is presented annually at the North Idaho Democracy Dinner. Nominees for this award may not necessarily live lives that measure up to Art Manley’s accomplishments. However, they should demonstrate a dedication of service to their communities. Service that is consistent with the principles of the Democratic Party and in accord with the spirit, determination and personal ethics that define the democracy we defend. People who embrace the belief that the Democratic Party and its members can make the difference in the life of ONE child, ONE family, ONE state, ONE nation. These nominees are proud of our legacy and believe our Party has worked extremely hard in the past and will continue that work in the future to fulfill our promises of a better future for all Americans.
