The Kootenai Elections office recruits and pays poll workers to staff polling locations throughout the county on election day. These temporary staffers help to monitor and facilitate safe and secure voting during our elections. If you have the time to commit to a day of service on Election Day, this is a terrific way to spend your time. Typically, this is a job for retirees, however anyone 16-years or older can serve as a poll worker. It requires attending a training session plus working during election day. If interested, check out the details and apply for a poll worker position at www.kcgov.us/324/Poll-Workers.
Having Democrats present and involved as poll workers on election day, can help to ensure that we have properly administered elections in Kootenai County.
