Inaugural Corn hole Tournament
The Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee (KCDCC) held a Corn Hole Tournament and fundraiser last month at The Filling Station in Post Falls. This venue is a gastropub owned and managed by former KC Dem chair Shem Hanks. The tournament was quite a success. We fielded a bevy of teams who competed for trophies and bragging rights. In addition, we provided a platform for local and statewide candidates to meet and greet potential voters. Overall, the event provided a great forum for reconnecting and visiting with fellow Democrats. Everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously! Moreover, we all agreed we should repeat this event in the future.
Thanks go to Sander Signs and Trophy Den. Also, a special thanks to Shem Hanks and his crew at the Filling Station for hosting the event and facilitating all the fun!
Precinct Captain Reception
In addition, the KCDCC held a welcome reception at the Coeur d’Alene Music Conservatory to thank the candidates who stepped up to run and serve as Democratic Precinct Captains. Other attendees at the reception were the current Central Committee members, and a contingent of candidates running for local and statewide office in the May 2022 Primary Election. The candidates presented their political stance and answered questions.
I would like to thank the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene as well as Paula Neils, Paula Marano, Mary Foster, Evan Koch, and all the others who contributed to making this lovely evening a success.
