KC Dems will be serving at the annual St Vincent de Paul’s Souport the End of Homelessness in North Idaho. The event takes place at the Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene, The event occurs on Thursday, November 15 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Each year dozens of local businesses and non-profits make a wide variety of their best soup recipes and decorate their tables to entice participants to taste their entries and vote on the best soup. Tickets are $12 and are sold at the door. All proceeds support the St Vincent de Paul Warming Centers.The KCD Community Outreach Committee collects donations of artisan breads and butter to serve at the event. A few Dem volunteers in their KC Dems t-shirts will serve the bread; this effort was a great success last year. The goal for butter and 50 loaves of homemade and artisan bread has been met!
