As part of our continuing community outreach effort, KC Dems will hold the 2nd Annual School Supply Drive to benefit community school kids. The drive will be Saturday, September 30th from 10 am-2pm at Ramsey Park-southernmost lot (closest to the Kroc Center). Look for our blue signs along Ramsey Road and our white pop-up tent. Your generous donation contributes to help five hundred children living in the school district. Needed Items include rulers, scissors, highlighters, calculators and protractors, composition books, pens, watercolor paint sets, college ruled paper and notebooks. A lot of these items are on sale now in preparation for the upcoming school year. The district has told us that they have plenty of backpacks, pencils and crayons, so they do not need those items at this time. We also accept cash or checks made out to CDA School district 271. Cash donations contribute directly to the district for the purchase of any other needed items.
