Reclaim Idaho Town Hall

Reclaim Idaho Town HallLast November, our Medicaid Expansion ballot initiative passed with 61 percent of the vote. A few months after the passage of Medicaid Expansion, the Idaho legislature passed Senate Bill 1159, a proposal that would make it virtually impossible to organize ballot initiatives in Idaho. The effort was defeated for the short-term when Governor Little vetoed the legislation. However, Idaho legislators and lobbyists have plans to reintroduce initiative restrictions during the next legislative session. That’s why I am asking you to attend the Reclaim Idaho Town Hall in Coeur d’Alene.

Now is the time to have a community discussion on our ballot initiative rights and how YOU can play a part of it. Join me at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 30th at the Coeur d’Alene Library-702 East Front Avenue for a Reclaim Idaho Town hall..

Retired Idaho Supreme Court Justice Jim Jones will be flying up to participate in this important discussion. Rep Jim Addis and Rep Paul Amador will also be in attendance. We believe it is vitally important they hear from you about our constitutional right to bring forth ballot initiatives.

Please consider volunteering with Reclaim Idaho. Get out in your community and protect every Idahoan’s right to bring citizen ballot initiatives. You will be amazed at how fun and rewarding it is to make a huge difference in our state. You’ve done it once. You can do it again.

Thank you!
