Raising Voter Registration Awareness
Rock painting is a current trend that is popular and fun. Rock the Vote is a campaign geared toward registering and activating young voters. The Kootenai Democrats are combining rock painting and voter outreach in an event we are calling a Rock the Vote Rock Painting Project. The idea is to have some fun while raising voter registration awareness. We are asking those who are interested to invite like minded friends to join us in an afternoon of rock painting. The theme is Rock the Vote. Together, we will paint rocks with colorful images and compelling calls to action. Ultimately, the finished rock art will be hidden around town to promote voter registration and activism.
