You Should Care About Your Neighbor’s Health
This month’s Progressive Diners meeting features Dr. Joe Abate. Join Dr Abate for a presentation of the current plight of the uninsured including recent drug company shenanigans and some unique approaches to improving health care. With the recent push to close the Medicaid gap in Idaho, this is a timely discussion. How we cover healthcare costs affects us all. Join the Progressive Diners as we learn why you should care about your neighbor’s health.
Dr. Abate is the former Chief Medical Officer at Heritage Health. HH, started out as “Dirne Community Health Clinic”. This nonprofit clinic specialized in offering services to needy individuals and families who could not afford conventional healthcare services. Prior to serving at HH, Dr. Abate was a cardiologist in private practice.
