At Februrary’s meeting Sholeh Patrick has agreed to speak about the MeToo Movement and Male Privilege. On October 9, 2018, Sholeh’s column in the Press was specifically about sexual assault and she was asked if she would like to expand a bit on her column at our group. She says that she is an attorney by training, but a journalist by preference. She has been a columnist with the CDA Press since 2002. She was trained in crisis intervention and spent 8 years as a volunteer rape crisis and domestic violence victim advocate, manning a hotline and meeting victims at the ER.
As always, we will start promptly at 6:30 pm, but you’ll want to arrive by 6 or so if you’d like to order drinks and/or dinner. We will be at Seasons using the new set-up and our limit is 40 persons.
