Progressive Diners: Renewable Electricity 2030 ordinance

Progressive Diners meets the first Wednesday of each month at Seasons in Cd’A at 6:30 pm for dinner and lively discussion of a topic of interest that is presented by a speaker.

This month’s topic of discussion:  Why CDA (and every other city) should adopt an ordinance pledging to pursue 100% renewable electricity.

Our presenters will be Brian Henning PhD of Gonzaga U and Rebecca MacMullan. They are co-chairs of 350 Spokane which was instrumental in Spokane City Council passing an ordinance committing the city to be 100% renewable electricity by 2030. They are well versed in the entire issue of climate change and Brian has published a book on the subject. He has spoken twice to our group and this will be Rebecca’s first time.

The program starts at 6:30 sharp and we end at 8:00. Please plan to arrive about 6:00 to get a seat and order dinner/drinks if desired.
Seasons has strictly limited our seating so please RSVP to be sure to have a place. Unfortunately there is no standing room.
