Grande Finale Canvassing Event
Kootenai County is close to fulfilling its part in getting the Medicaid Expansion Citizens Initiative on the 2018 November ballot. The goal is within reach. Consequently, we are assembling a grassroots army of 40-50 volunteers for a final push to reach voters in four Coeur d’Alene neighborhoods. The objective is the collection of the remaining 400 signatures needed to meet our quota. We have four canvassing leaders, four notaries and four home bases! Now all we need is you to come out and support this grande finale canvassing event.

Canvassing Details
Volunteers will gather at the Kootenai Environmental Alliance. After some brief training and a pep rally, we will break up into groups, gather materials and start canvassing our target neighborhoods.
Everything needed to be successful is provided including a start-up location and a home base for signature notarization. In addition, a pre-generated list of registered voters will be provided for each team.
Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. We will be hitting the streets – rain or shine! So whether you are an old hand or a first-time volunteer, you are encouraged to join in.
