State and federal funding only provides about 75% of what it takes to fund our schools.

Levy dollars allow school districts to bridge the gap between state funding and the cost of meeting the educational expectations of our community. Ensure our students continue to receive a quality education in a safe and supportive environment.

LEVY DOLLARS HELP FUND ESSENTIAL PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES SUCH AS:

  • Safety: School resource officers, high school campus safety
  • Health: School nurses, mental health resources, family support
  • Staffing: Recruiting and keeping quality teachers and staff
  • Classroom Support:Instructional assistants, classroom supplies
  • Skilled Trades: Pathways to careers in an evolving economy
  • Enrichment: Sports, music, arts, extracurricular activities
  • Transportation: Buying new, safer school buses
  • Technology: Additional student devices, tech support
This levy proposal will not increase the projected taxes for the average Lakeland, Coeur d’Alene or Post Falls taxpayer’s school district taxes.
