Today is the last day to request Absentee Ballots. You can fill out a request online or download a printable form from
IdahoVotes.Gov. In addition, you can complete the request process in person at the Kootenai County election office. No matter what means you use, please make sure that you fill out the request form correctly. Also, if you are using the printable offline form, please return it as soon as possible by any of the following means: email, fax, or hand delivery. Keep in mind that if you are running up against the deadline do not consider mailing it in. Your ballot request must be received by the county clerk on October 23, no later than 5pm. Once you have submitted your request, you can use
IdahoVotes.Gov to check your voter record. Your record includes the status of your absentee ballot.
Please note that Emergency Absentee Ballots applications may be submitted through 5pm on November 2 from those who cannot be present for voting due to hospitalization if hospitalization began after 5pm on October 23.
Also, if you miss the request deadline and do not qualify for an Emergency Ballot, you can still vote early in person at the Kootenai County election office. In person early voting is available from October 19-October 30 from 8am to 5pm (M-F).
