Pre-Register for the General Election
The deadline for Voter Registration is October 9, 2020. This closing date applies to new registrations and changes for existing voters who have moved or changed their names since their last voter registration. You must complete your registration info and submit it to the county clerk by the deadline to pre-qualify for the November 3 election. The cut off is 5 PM for paper applications or midnight for the online applications. In addition, you must have proper photo identification and dated proof of residence in Kootenai County. Register When You Vote
Same Day registration on Election Day is permitted at your polling place. It is also allowed when Early Voting at the Elections Office.
