The Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee will hold its annual Christmas and Volunteer Appreciation Party on December 10, 2018, at 6:30 pm, at the Global Kitchen,308 E Lakeside, Cd’A.
**This is a no host food and beverage event. You are welcome to bring a plate of cookies or sweets (no appetizers) to share.
The Central Committee invites all the hard-working GOTV volunteers, candidates and all their campaign helpers, and other KCDems event volunteers (fair booth, SPAN Walk, Chili Cookoff, Riverstone Concert, etc.) as a way to express our gratitude for their work and support during this very intense election year. As a special treat for everyone, KCDCC Chair Shem Hanks will give a report on the Democratic success locally (yes, there were positives!), statewide, and nationally.
Attention CC members: We will hold a short meeting at 6 pm at the Global Kitchen before the party to approve the 2019 KCDCC budget.
**We regret not providing a buffet of food. Such a buffet as provided at the Election night party costs about $850 which is beyond our CC budget at this time. We have chosen the congenial atmosphere of the Global Kitchen to support this Democrat-owned local business that welcomed our group on election night. We appreciate your understanding.
Attention all Dem Club attendees: The KC Dem Community Outreach Committee is sponsoring a month-long food drive for the local food bank. Community Action Partnership in Coeur d’Alene provides food assistance for local families year round. As part of our effort to support local entities that help folks in need, we will collect donations of food during the whole month of December. Bring your donations of canned food each Friday to the Dem Club Lunch through December 28, or to the holiday party at the Global Kitchen on December 10, 6:30-8 pm. You may also contact Cathy Kraus at email@example.com for questions or donations. If you’d rather make a cash donation, please give directly to CAP at 4144 Industrial Loop, Cd’A.
