Extreme animal cruelty is a felony in 46 states. Idaho is not one of them. Jennifer Cook from Hank’s Law will be speaking on the efforts of her foundation to make it a felony in Idaho. This may not sound political nor partisan but apparently every issue no matter how sensible, it is finds objectors. A group of passionate animal rights supporters gathered to form Hank’s Law Foundation. The Foundation’s goal is to work together to amend and strengthen Idaho’s anti-cruelty statutes. Making animal abuse a felony, encouraging stronger enforcement of animal protection laws and providing public education on animal rights issues is the purpose of Hanks law foundation.
