KCD Women’s Association: CASA Baby Shower

CASA Baby ShowerThe Kootenai County Democratic Women’s Association will hold their annual Baby Shower for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) at the home of Roberta and David Larsen.

Please join us for the Kootenai Democrat Women Association’s annual Spring CASA Baby Shower. The CASA babies from age newborn to Toddler 2 are in need of clothes and diapers. Please bring a wrapped shower gift. We would also appreciate wine and hor d’oeuvres to share. This event is co-hosted by Kathy Beechler.
This is always a fun and worthwhile event.

Directions to Roberta’s Home: On highway 95 going south toward Plummer/Moscow go 1.2 miles from the south end of the Spokane River bridge, turn left just before the BLM/Ducks Unlimited signs across from the “Summermill Road” sign.

The local CASA chapter provides trained advocates for over 400 child abuse and neglect victims in North Idaho. Advocates investigate child protection cases, represent the child’s best interest in court and help find them a safe home with a forever family.

This is one of four annual events put on by the Women’s Association to bring Democratic women together for conversation and comaraderie.  The Association especially supports Democratic women to run for public office.

For RSVP or more information contact Sheila Gary, 208 818 0537 or Kathy Beehler 208 691 6549.
