Join the Big Blue Wave of Democrats walking in the Fourth of July Parade in Coeur d’Alene. We will show that Democrats are strong in number and enthusiasm! Pets are welcome, too!
The Parade theme this year is “Old-fashioned Fun.” The KC Dems will celebrate the “Old-fashioned fun” by remembering the courage and patriotism of the Suffragettes working to bring about the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution to give women the right to vote.
Bring your friends and family, wearing your blue KC Dems shirts or white garments to honor the long, hard work of the Suffragettes.
A trailer with seating on straw bales will hold anyone unable to walk the entire route. Meet us in the vicinity of Sherman and 19th Street at 9:30 AM. The parade starts at 10 AM and lasts about an hour. (Watch this space for any change of venue as the parade date approaches.)
