15 minutes of each meeting is time for the announcements and networking. The meeting is open to the public.
The monthly central committee meeting is a forum for the Kootenai County Democrat’s precinct chairs and vice chairs (aka precinct captains) to come together and organize. Precinct captains represent their precincts at the meeting. More importantly, they work to identify and engage voters in their area. Before the formal meeting gets underway, there is time to make announcements and network. If you are interested in engaging in local politics, this meeting is a great way to start. The meeting is open to the public.
The monthly central committee meeting takes place on the second Monday of each month throughout the year. The default meeting location is the first floor meeting room at the Kootenai County Courthouse. However, in October, we will meet elsewhere because the Courthouse will be unavailable.
For more information about the Central Committee, leave a message at 208 763-3361 and a volunteer will get back with you.
