Life-long teacher and former Idaho Education Association President Terry Gilbert joins us at the Democratic Club this Friday, October 7 at noon, online.
Gilbert is crisscrossing the state to raise awareness about his campaign for Idaho Superintendent of Schools. He faces a well-funded campaign from conservative Debbie Critchfield.
Terry states: “Public schools are the heart and soul of Idaho’s communities — the glue that holds our democracy together. And sadly, they are still badly underfunded, ranking 50th in the nation in per-pupil spending! This is not acceptable to any Idahoan who takes pride in our state.”
Join Gilbert this Friday for his assessment of what is at stake and how he is best suited for the job of State Superintendent of Schools.
