Based on recent trade and industry predictions, the economic landscape in 2023 could be a little bumpy. For example, despite a steady but moderate trend in job creation in 2022, there are signs of looming layoffs and the possibility of a coming recession.  

To help us assess how these economic issues could affect us here in Idaho, we have invited economist Sam Wolkenhauer to join us. Sam is the Northern Region Economist for the Idaho Department of Labor. Sam will present in layman’s terms the latest economic trends for Idaho and more specifically the panhandle. His presentation is always based on facts without political spin.

Join us this Friday at noon online to gain a greater understanding of Idaho’s current economic status and what these indicators portend for the future.
