Complaint Against NIC
Four regional human rights task forces co-signed the complaint, dated March 12, against NIC’s accreditation eligibility. They submitted it to NWCCU and the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Justice Department. To be specific, the notice of objection demands a full investigation of the institution’s leadership. The signatories are the Kootenai, Bonner, Boundary, and Spokane County Human Rights Task Forces.
Join NIC President Rick MacLennan this Friday, August 27th for a look into the reported violations and what is at stake if NIC loses accreditation. Don’t miss this critical conversation about our Community College and the potential ramifications brought about by this failure of leadership by the NIC Board of Trustees.
We distribute a Zoom link for our club meeting on the Thursday prior to the meeting date. To request the link or assistance getting connected, contact Phil at firstname.lastname@example.org.
