The Dem Club’s online gathering features a visit from Jeff Voeller, Director of Operations for the Coeur d’Alene School District. Jeff’s presentation will highlight how CDA Schools is coping while providing services and preparing for an eventual reopening. Ultimately, children must return to school to attend classes. The question is how to do it in a safe and effective manner. Come meet Jeff and get your questions answered. This is your opportunity to gain an understanding of the steps we must take to safely reopen our schools during this pandemic.

The impact of COVID-19 on our nation’s education system is no joke. Just ask the many parents who are struggling to adjust to schooling their children from home and the teachers who are striving to support them online with classes, content, and a coherent curriculum. With children staying home and many parents working from home as well, the challenge of keeping children engaged is a reminder of the value and importance of professional educators.
