November 3, 2020 is Election Day. All polling places — and the county clerk’s office will be open from 8am–8pm. Qualified individuals may register and vote at their designated polling place on election day.
If you have not taken advantage of Absentee or Early Voting be sure you have a plan to Vote Today. Check your voter record and make sure you know where to vote and make sure that you bring a valid id (required) and proof of residency (if needed). Also please note that polling locations may have changed so don’t presume that you know where you will vote. Remember to check first. Also, it is important to know your voting rights before you cast your vote. Also, print your 2020 Voter Pamphlet and take it with you if you think you will need it.
Today is also the absentee ballot return deadline. If you are late in getting your ballot filled out, be sure that you hand carry it to the Kootenai County Elections Office. Voted absentee ballots must be received — by the county clerk — by 8pm.
