Dems Celebrate America the Beautiful
July 4th is a great time to show your colors. In other words, our nation’s birthday represents the perfect opportunity to stand up for what you believe in. As it happens, the Coeur d’Alene Festival’s parade theme is America the Beautiful. For Democrats, that means it’s people in all their diversity. To honor everyone who calls this nation home, we plan to march in a big blue wave of Democrats. Come join us.
By the way, there is something else worth celebrating this year. Specifically, there are some folks in our community who take their civic duty seriously. Consequently, they are running for public office as Democrats and encouraging you to vote for them. So, show your friends and neighbors that Dems Celebrate America the Beautiful and our Democratic candidates by marching with them.

Parade Details for Participants
First, you should know that the staging begins at 8AM at 19th Street and Sherman Avenue in the veterinary office parking lot. Dems should be at the staging area no later than 9:30AM to participate. Look for the blue KC Dems shirts to confirm our location. Also, remember to wear blue or the colors of the local campaign you support. The parade begins promptly at 10AM.
The parade route runs west on Sherman Avenue toward the city park and ends at Government Way. Once we reach the endpoint, we will circle back towards the staging area using Wallace Avenue.

The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce organizes the annual 4th of July Festival and Parade. Activities include the parade and an evening fireworks display. Also, if you enjoy the fireworks display, consider donating to the Chamber’s Fireworks Fund.
