Club Forum and Discussion on Shared Wisdom
This Friday, the Democratic Club welcomes party elders Richard Kohles, Laureen Belmont, Ron Johnson, Annette Bignall and Larry Telles. They will offer their combined wisdom, from years of service to the club, to engage us in a lively discussion about our vision for the future. The panel will be presented with pointed questions to help us explore how to preserve the best of our past practices and traditions while welcoming the fresh energy and innovative ideas of a new generation of Democrats. So, ask yourself, “What do you see for our future?” Share your input with us, this Friday, at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill.
About the Club
The Democratic Club is the educational and social branch of the Kootenai Democrats. The weekly club meetings serve to educate local democrats about current issues. More importantly, it is a social hub for people seeking to find and connect with local Democrats. Our Friday presentations feature local experts and visionaries sharing their insights and experiences with us. The club is also a public forum for making announcements regarding recent and upcoming events and activities. It works to raise awareness about Democratic issues and policies in our area. Visibility campaigns include the 4th of July American Heroes Parade and the North Idaho Fair Booth. The club also raises money for the Kootenai Democrats through annual fundraisers like the upcoming Dance Through Time event on October 27. We are always looking for people committed to the democratic cause to participate and support the Club.
