Democratic Club – Ali Shute, CDA Arts & Culture Alliance

-The Home of the Arts in Coeur d’Alene-
This Friday, the Democratic Club is privileged to have Ali Shute, executive director of the Cd’A Arts & Culture Alliance, speaking about the future of the arts in our city. “The arts are extremely important to a community. My art background is around children and the value of arts with children, and I don’t think many people argue the point that arts are valuable to kids, in establishing who they are.”
“I feel that as our community members come to understand and embrace this concept, we will generate the funding and enthusiasm to continue on our path of establishing this area as an arts destination,” says Shute. Ali is an artist herself, and owns a graphic design business (SixTwoFour Designs) based in Post Falls.
We hope you will join us this Friday and show Ali that the Dems wholeheartedly support the arts! Bring your ideas and enthusiasm and we’ll see you then!
