Innovations and Up
The Democratic Club welcomes Captain Greg McLean and Detective Neil Uhrig from the Post Falls Police Department. Since joining the force in 1989, Captain McLean has seen Post Falls grow significantly. When he started, the population was 5,000 people. Post Falls is now a community of over 31,000. As a result of this growth and changing technology, the complexity and demands of law enforcement have increased since his beginnings as an Animal Control Officer. Consequently, Captain McClean and Officer Uhrig will give an overview of what’s new in the world of modern day policing in a presentation they call “Innovations and Up”. You can hear them this Friday at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill.
