Democratic Club-Climate Change Impacts Idaho

Climate Change Impacts Idaho

This Friday, the Democratic Club welcomes Dr. Craig Cooper. Dr. Cooper volunteers for the Citizens’ Climate Lobby. CCL works in partnership with Climate Action CDA to address the threat of climate change. For example, they advocate for a national carbon pricing policy. Craig is a scientist with over 20 years of experience in studying human impacts on the environment. He holds a degree in chemistry and has a PhD in oceanography. Dr. Cooper will outline known impacts of climate change in Idaho and explain the work being done to combat it. So, come down to the Iron Horse Bar and Grill and learn how climate change impacts Idaho and how citizens and businesses are beginning to respond.
