CDA Comprehensive Plan 2018
The Comprehensive Plan is a guide for future development within Coeur d’Alene. Its purpose is to serve as a design document for planning and managing the city’s physical growth through the year. The plan is driven by the input of citizen groups, neighborhood associations, or individuals who have participated in various community meetings and city planning committees. Although input of the citizenry is the basis for the plan, final decisions are ultimately the responsibility of the City Council. The Council sets city policy and defines its operational goals and objectives. Its responsibilities include the integration and management of a vast number of public and private interests. Ultimately, the plan represents the community’s combined efforts to create and sustain a viable and livable city for everyone. View a copy of the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
