2018 Legislative Update
This Friday, the Democratic Club features House Minority Leader Mat Erpelding. In addition to the legislative update, he will also discuss work by Democratic lawmakers to promote transparency, accountability and integrity in state government. Come hear Mat this Friday at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill for a reminder of why we need to remain focused on our state legislature. There is a lot at stake.
Pizza and Politics Community Town Hall
Mat Erpelding is touring Idaho to update concerned citizens about the issues and direction of the 2018 legislative session. He will be in Coeur d’Alene for a local Pizza and Politics Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, February 24th from 5:30-7:30pm. The event at the Human Rights Education Institute is open to the public. However, we encourage you to REGISTER. Your registration helps us plan the event.
Most importantly, the town hall gives you access to our political leader-Mat Erpelding. Not only will you hear a legislative update, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. This is a wonderful opportunity to find out what is on the legislative agenda for the 2018 session. Please plan to arrive early to get a good seat and slice or two of hot pizza!
Despite the buttoned up political image, Mat is an outdoorsman at heart. He moved to Idaho to attend Idaho State University and never left. In addition to politics, he is passionate about mountaineering and working as a wilderness guide and outfitter. Mat is a business owner, husband, and father. He lives in Boise with his wife Elizabeth and daughter Louise. Representative Erpelding is currently serving his 3rd term in the Idaho Legislature.
