November 8, 2022 – “Facing Growth—Eyes Wide Open” is the next community forum sponsored by DART. DART is an acronym for Dedicated-Accountable-Responsible-Together. It is a nonpartisan group of community-minded citizens. The forum takes place on Thursday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. at The Family Harding Center. The Harding Center is located at 411 N. 15th Street in Coeur d’Alene.
An expert panel will present the issue of growth from several viewpoints. Panelists include Hilary Patterson, CDA Community Planning Director; Dave Callahan, Kootenai County Community Development Director; Allen Dykes and Scott Hoag representing North Idaho Building Contractors Association; and Kiki Miller, longtime advocate for affordable housing, said Palagi. The moderator is Dave Childs, a retired city and county administrator.
As in past forums, questions from the audience will not be taken during the forum due to time constraints. Questions can be submitted in advance to DARTCDA@gmail.com and will be woven into the overall questions given to the panelists.
