The Coeur d’Alene Press is releasing Voters’ Guide three times during this election season. The 1st publication of the Coeur d’Alene Press Voters’s Guide will be distributed today to all subscribers and single-copy purchases of the paper. In addition, an overrun of the guides will allow for non-subscribers to pick up copies at the Press Office. The insert will be reissued on Oct. 11 and Nov. 1.Why three? The early one is to reach the many voters who will cast their absentee ballots right away. The October printing will serve as a reminder or perhaps reach readers who simply overlooked the first publication. It will also be helpful for Early Voting at the Elections Office. And the Nov. 1 edition? That’s for the folks who will head to the polls and need a brisk refresher.
Publishing three times also allows the Press to make changes or updates as needed.
