The KCDCC sends out a big “Thank You” to our community for answering the call to donate to our annual food drive. Because of the tremendous generosity of local folks, KC Dems delivered a total of 1738 pounds of food and over $1800 in cash donations to the Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls food banks! About seventy-five cars drove through our “drive up/drive through” collection point–some with the express intention of donating–and others just happening to be driving by who saw our signs! Our hardy volunteers braved over 7 hours in the cold collecting the goods.
