Summer is ending, and it is all-hands-on deck time!
I am asking every Democrat reading this message to attend our September events and commit a couple of hours each week in support of our field organizing efforts.
Connect with the Kootenai Democrats
It is time to buy your tickets for the Democracy Dinner. This local gala is our premier social gathering and our largest fundraiser. It takes place at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Hotel on September 23rd.
While you are at it, take the time to register for the Democracy Symposium on September 24th. This free public event takes place at the Red Lion Inn at Templin’s in Post Falls.
And feel free to invite a friend or two to attend them with you.
Support Our Field Organizing Efforts
With the GOP strangle hold on our state and local government, it can seem that the election outcome is a forgone conclusion. Yet, the results are not set in stone. The fact is it depends on the decisions that we make and the actions we take between now and November 8, 2022. I know it will not be easy and there are no guarantees. However, building the future we want is up to us. So, it is time to get to work.
Start by registering to participate in the Kootenai County Phone Bank. We hold phone banking sessions each week on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. It is easy to sign up and you can participate from home or join others at our campaign headquarters.
You can also sign up to help with District 4 Door Knocking. This neighborhood canvassing takes place every Friday and Saturday.
If you have questions, please call, or text Donovan Clymer at 248-925-6620. Please commit to help with these grassroots organizing efforts as much as your schedule allows.
I look forward to seeing you at our social events and joining you in our campaign efforts. Together we can elect a Democrat.
Have a wonderful week everyone.
