MY TERM AS CHAIR ENDED LAST NIGHT

Congratulations and best wishes to Chair Sarah Martin and Vice Chair Adam Bennet. My bet is that they will be cool headed but assertive leaders. Kootenai County needs then both and is fortunate to have them both.

I am truly overwhelmed by the thanks and compliments coming in. These messages capped off the innumerable similar comments I received from folks over the past five years. All in all, it’s been a very heady experience…the ride of my life. My sincere thanks to all.

I did not do it alone, not by any means. I am indebted to the Officers and Precinct Captains of our Central Committee. No matter how much you did, your efforts contributed to our cause as the loyal opposition.

Please give our new leaders the same high levels of support.

For now, let’s turn our attention to the June 14th NO KINGS Demonstration and the June 22nd Red White & Blue BBQ. And plan for a large turnout for the upcoming July 4th Independence Day Parade.
